Little Girls Deams Do Come True!

When I was young I always wanted to have a swimming pool.  I picked berries and beans for many summers
saving my money to buy a pool out of the Sears Catalog of course, the above ground kind.  However, my dad would always come around and say I'll match your first 100 bucks if you buy stock with it.  So, that's what I did I bought AT&T stock and I never got my pool.  Actually after AJ & I got married we sold my stock and bought a house to fix up and rent.  BUT now I have my POOL.  Sorry for all the pictures but we documented the whole process.  If you want to see the final product go to the end.  My family was nice enough to let me get in first.  I love our pool and so do my kids and grandkids.

The day the put the gunite in
We had to spray it down 4 times a day for 8 days.

We are starting to fill it.  It took 48 hours to fill it up

They let me get in first.

Flaming Gorge

Just a warning this is picture overload.  This has ended up being our last activity with the Mountain View 9th Ward.  We got a phone call a week later, to meet with the Stake President and we're told we were getting released.  It has been so much fun.  This was our summer activity to Flaming Gorge to float the river.  We had around 75 kids come and we had a most excellent time. We drove over there on Thursday and got camp all set up and then Friday morning we picked up the rafts and headed to the river.  Unfortunately, mother nature didn't cooperate on the day we floated the river, they got one run in and about halfway through their second run it was thundering and lightning, and then the downpour.  After it blew over the evening turned out to be very pleasant.  And we drove home Saturday morning. SO MUCH FUN!!!!
