FEBRUARY

Stake Conference
  We had our Stake Conference at the end of January/February and we made dinner for the visiting general authority Elder Keech and his wife.  I made these centerpieces for our Saturday evening dinner between the Priesthood Leadership and General Adult Session.  We enjoyed homemade soup, breadsticks and salad.

Visiting Teaching
   This is what I gave my visiting teaching ladies for the month of February.

LAUNDRY ROOM REDO
   This has been a long time coming. We finally were able to get our laundry room remodeled.  Please note that I didn't have cabinets down below the counter. I had new cabinets made for down below the counter and new ones made for up above the sink.  Also an open cabinet for my ribbon.

I also had cubbies made and beadboard put in and drawers put in the bench and granite.

JANUARY 2015

Sledding

    We kept our tradition of going sledding on New Year's Day and I'm so glad that we did as we haven't had any snow since.  It is a fun hill and they all had a great time and with the sun shining it didn't feel that cold.

Visiting Teaching

    This is what I made for my lades for the month of January because my theme for this month is snowmen. I think they turned out really cute.

Stair Railing Redo
  I finally did it.  I have wanted to paint our stairways and I did it.  It was backbreaking work but so worth it. I used the cabinet transformation kits.  We got the black one for the top and large posts and then an off-white for the spindles and bottom.  It took me 8  days and many many hours.  But I am so happy with the end result.

Fireplace Mantel Redo
   So since I do out stairways, the mantel was the next project.  In comparison to the stairs this was a piece of cake of did it in two day because of drying times.  But I'm thrilled with how it turned out also.
