MAY

    MOTHER'S DAY
I had a very nice Mother's day, however the weather did not cooperate very well. Megan and Tyler had to come on Saturday so they could spend Sunday with Tyler's mom.  However, the rest came on Sunday and we enjoyed a yummy dinner and played games.

This is what the girls gave me, and it works really well. I been using it for a least a year and it really does help your lashes grow.

      AJ'S POEM FOR ME
Deb
There's candy and cards
and flowers that are given
To honor our wives
The mothers that are driven

For all that they do
Each day of the Year
Their unselfish love
There sacrifice dear

But to you may you know
That it's more than all these
Your gifts and your talents
Are those that all please

A wonderful mother
A grandmother dear
We're cherished to have you
Each day of the year

So may I remember
And never forget
How much that I love you
You're the one that I get
Happy Mother's Day - 5-11-14 AJ

Our new counter stools  weren't suppose to arrive until after Mother's day however, on Friday afternoon their was a knock on our door and so I spent two hours putting them together.  I really like them, they have changed the look of our ktichen.

SOCCER

Judson enjoyed another season of playing soccer, his team did awesome and he really improved.

MYLA'S DANCE RECITAL
What can I say it is so fun to watch these little girls try to do their dance that they have learned.  She was so concerned about staying on her spot.  Way to go Myla!

ELSIE'S DANCE RECITAL

My sister and her husband came for a visit so she was able to go and see Elsie's dance performance.  There were 55 dances which made it a long evening.  Elsie danced in two dances #25 and #35.  It was 9 o'clock by then so we left.  She did a great job.

CARTER'S LAST SOCCER GAME

The next night we were able to go to Carter's last soccer game.  They have a great team.  I think they
have won all their games but maybe one.

APRIL HAPPENINGS

EASTER
We had everyone over for dinner and an Easter egg hunt.  The weather actually cooperated and it was a really nice day. They are all old enough to know what to do for the hunt.  They each get 10 eggs there initial or name are on them so they know which ones are theirs.  They had so much fun.

                                           My Easter bunny...

Coloring while the eggs get hid...

AJ's BIRTHDAY
                                          His three new golf clubs...

 A NEW BABY...
Krin and Court had their baby Harper Rae Jones on April 30, 2014  five days before her due date. I was really hoping for a May baby but she had a mind of her own and couldn't wait. She weighed 8 lbs. 4 oz. and was 22 inches long. This is a pic of Elsie and Talon meeting their baby sister for the first time.  Harper is named after her great grandmother Shirley May Harper (AJ's mom).
                                          Our eighth grandchild....

MARCH

MARCH BIRTHDAYS

March 1st was Myla's third birthday.  Megan invited several little girls to a fun little bubble birthday party. Then that night the grandparents came over for pizza.

Then on March 4th was Talon's birthday,  we actually had to come the night before and celebrate with him.

On Sunday the day before St. Patrick's day we had everyone over for dinner and to see what the Leprechaun left.
                             Following the clues...
clue l took us to the playhouse
                                then the fridge
                                    the toilet
                                    the bed

                                      the tub
                                  Grandma's chair
                                     front door
                                    the back door shelf
                              and finally
The treasure at the end of the rainbow...

Then we celebrated our March birthdays.  Talon and Elsie weren't able to be here they were in Idaho.
