Halloween Party

On Thursday, October 27th we had our annual family Halloween party hosted this year by Megan and Tyler.  We had barbeque chicken pizza, meatballs, pigs in a blanket, artichoke dip and punch, apples with caramel dip, pumpkin squares etc.  We had a best costume contest and eating donuts off of a string.  We had a great evening.

October Birthday

Ty was our only October Birthday so we celebrated it on the last Sunday of the month.  Ty wasn't walking on his actual birthdy, but now he is walking by himself.  He is such a happy one.

 

 

Our Disney Trip Ends

Here we are waiting for the Mikey Soundsational Parade.  It was great and I loved all the music and floats.

 

 

 

We didn't check out until noon so the kids were able to go swim in the morning. Here we are waiting for the 2 vans to pick us up and take us to the airport. Home Sweet Home.

There really wasn't a way for all 15 of us to stay together all the time.  So AJ & I would go with one family for awhile and then meet up with another one, so we split our time with all three families. I think AJ's favorite besides the Matterhorn and Splash Mountain was the 3D Bugs Life. He had never experienced watching in 3D before.  In fact, we went and saw it twice.  We also watched the play Alladin, which was excellent.  It was like a Broadway play. Disney Cont. 1

Our first day we all got up early and headed over to the entrance along with hundreds of other people. That day turned out to be really hot around 104 so in the afternoon at various times we all headed back to the hotel to cool down and have a nap get a bit to eat and then head back for the evening.  We were going to the World of Color.  Because of Tara we all got fast passes and were able to be right up front for the show.  It truly was a spectaular show with lights, movie clips in the sky, and shooting flames that being up front was quite warm.  You could just feel the heat.
