Halloween Party 2009

Last night Tara held her annual Halloween Party at their home. We had appetizers and her infamous Chicken Chili, cupcakes & pumpkin squares and then we played games.

In this game you had to find 10 gummy worms with your mouth only and put them into a cup. Tara won.






This game was Bust a Move. One person dances into the middle and does a move and then the next person does the previous person's move and adds one. Very fun.




It was a great evening with lots of good food and fun times and especially being with family.

Gardner Village Witches

After several weeks of sick kids, and work schedules, doctor appointments, Tara, Krin and myself along with the grandkids were finally able to go to Gardner Village and see the witches. They have a little sacavenger hunt to find some of the different witches and after you fill out the form kids 12 and under can go to the neighborhood bakery and get a cookie for 25 cents. So I printed off 3 sheets for the kids and as we walked along I filled them all in, even though Tara said don't worry they don't even look at them, I still was determined to find them all and fill in the answers, that's why I don't have very many pictures cause I was filling in all the sheets and she was right they didn't even look at them. It turned out to be a beautiful day and pretty crowded. Next year, hopefully, Megan and Judson will get to come with us.

The Haunted Forest

Our ward activity for this month was going to the Haunted Forest. We had a taco dinner before we headed down to American Fork. We had around 40 kids show up for this activity.

Pinewood Derby

One of our FHE this month was our 2nd annual Pinewood Derby. Last year AJ & I were out of town, so I was excited to have it again this year.

9th Ward Overnighter

Last Friday night we went up to the Heber Valley Girls camp and had a ward overnighter. The weather was fantastic and the food was great and so was the turnout -- we had around 56 total.
